Breakfast in Amherst
Our favorite breakfast place is up for sale. Roosters, in Amherst for as long as I can remember, is closed. They had great crisp bacon, not greasy like other places. And the prices were great. So we tried Kelly's in So. Amherst and found the fried stuff just too greasy. The Diner next to Stop & Shop isn't bad. They give you a lot to eat and have a larger variety of choices than most places. We also have tried The Stables. They have homemade bread and some of them aren't bad but fewer items on the menu than the Diner. Prices are all about the same, between $4 & $8. |
